At The Ohio State University School of Music, we value our mission to educate, enrich and instill a lifelong love of music in future generations of musicians.
To further this goal, we offer a number of outreach events for middle and high school musicians, music educators, and school groups.

String Day (High School Student)
Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026
10 a.m.–4:30 p.m. • Timashev Family Music Building
We invite high school string players (violin, viola, cello, double bass) throughout Ohio and neighboring regions to join us for an exciting day of performances, reading sessions, masterclasses, and collaboration with the Ohio State string students. You will have an opportunity to work one-on-one with Ohio State string faculty and side-by-side with current string students.
Use this form if you are a high school student in grades 9–12 (academic year 2026–2027).
